I am a Lighting Designer and Technician based in the UK since 2011. I have worked in several venues and companies in Spain, Germany and in the UK like Circomedia, Tobacco Factory, Sala Triángulo, Cambridge Junction, Fusion Festival or Bristol Old Vic.
I started my studies in 2006 at the Centro de las Tecnologías del Espectáculo in Madrid where I did the equivalent of a Foundation Degree on Lighting Technique for Live Events, then in 2009 continued at the Teatro de Madrid where I studied a short course on Lighting Design under Nicolás Fischtel (AAI) and Mauricio Rinaldi and recently I started a BA in Theatre Lighting Design at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where I study under Nick Moran (ALD) and Paul Colwell.
My practice is now moving towards Lighting Design where I fulfil my necessity to express myself. There, I get inspiration from practitioners like Yaron Abulafia, Adolphe Appia, Joseph Svoboda or Klaus Grunberg and companies like La Fura dels Baus, Recoil Performance, Henier Goebbles or Ex Machina.
I am also researching in other technologies to complement my lighting designs. In particular, I am learning about the use of interactive projections from Arduino boards and Processing programming language.
Likewise, I am an enthusiast of photography from family inheritance, that I often practice as a hobby.
